Virtual Tour Group Provides Virtual Tours for Showtime House at Tribeca Summit

Bayside, New York—Showtime Networks, Inc., a CBS company, recently contracted with Virtual Tour Group, Inc. for the production of online virtual tours to showcase Metropolitan Home’s Showtime House at Tribeca Summit, a sprawling 14,000 square feet designer home project featuring interior design interpretations of Showtime Network’s most popular programs.

Maz Hobbi, CEO of Virtual Tour Group, Inc., said the firm produced a total of six virtual tours, covering 8,500 square feet, which featured rooms inspired by Showtime programs including Dexter, The Tudors, Weeds, Californication, Nurse Jackie, and the United States of Tara.  “We are quite pleased to have worked with Showtime Networks on such an expansive and celebrated project as the Showtime House,” said Hobbi.

The virtual tours produced by the firm feature moving panoramic images of the individual design spaces devoted to each Showtime program.  For web viewers, the tours create a virtual reality that provides more encompassing views of the design spaces than digital images can provide.  “Our virtual tours of interior design projects such as the Showtime House are specifically produced to draw the viewer into the space and provide as realistic an experience as possible,” he said.  Hobbi added that virtual tours are becoming increasingly popular feature in designer home projects.    “We’ve found that many interior designers have begun using virtual tours to showcase their work in much the same way that real estate agencies use virtual tours to market homes,” he said.

Metropolitan Home’s Showtime House is a collaborative effort between Showtime Networks, Inc., and Metropolitan Home magazine, a leading interior design resource.  The 2009 project marks the second year of the Showtime House, and features 14,000 square feet of design projects spanning two penthouses and outdoor spaces within the exclusive Tribeca Summit luxury loft condominium community.  Public tours are available on weekends until October 18.

Virtual Tour Group Produces Virtual Tours to Showcase Abigail Kirsch Wedding, Special Event Venues

Bayside, New York—Virtual Tour Group, Inc. recently contracted with Abigail Kirsch, a premier tri-state area provider of exclusive wedding and special event venues, to produce online virtual tours of Kirsch’s elite special event locations.

Maz Hobbi, CEO of Virtual Tour Group, said his firm produced six online virtual tours for placement on Kirsch’s website, featuring two rooms of the Tappan Hill mansion located on the former estate of Mark Twain, New York Botanical Gardens, Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, and Stage Six at Steiner Studios in New York City.  “We are delighted to have produced online virtual tours for Abigail Kirsch’s unique and historic special event venues.  Our goal was to provide our client with highly-interactive and user-friendly online tours to provide potential customers with a way of exploring the venues via the Internet,” said Hobbi.

Virtual tours are digitally-simulated panoramic tours of buildings or other venues designed for online viewing.  Using a series of digital videos taken from a variety of angles, the files are merged to create a realistic and interactive experience for website visitors.  According to Hobbi, business owners are increasingly using virtual tours to assist them in marketing to a tech-savvy generation of consumers who begin most of their searches for services and products online.  “We’re finding that more and more businesses are utilizing virtual tours on their websites because they provide round-the-clock access to their facilities and services in a way that is the next best thing to actually being there,” he said.

The virtual tours featuring Abigail Kirsch exclusive special event locations, and others produced by Virtual Tour Group, Inc. are available for viewing at www.virtualtourgroup.com.
